My New Zeeland friend from the Qm2 Sam told me we got to go here and he was right.

The caldo and the moqueqa de sururu are richly layered and deeply flavorful. I wish I could take the flavors home with me.

It is true that Dada is nowhere to be seen and perhaps this place is living off its 1990s reputation, But this is Bahian cuisine at it's best, in an unpretentious environment, and served with a smile. Highly recommended.
